Adam & Steve

I've known Ryan for some time now. How long exactly, is hard to say. I met him on Fairy server of Final Fantasy XI (an MMORPG that I play). Though, it wasn't till sometime after he left the game that I found out he was gay. We have talked on messenger quite a bit since I've known him and I've grown quite fond of him, to put it mildly. He is actually the inspiration behind "Adam & Steve" (left charcter to be exact).
The background was the hardest part; I've never been particularly good with backgrounds. This one, too. took several itterations before I found a suitable one. Originaly I just had them in a field of grey with blue speedo's instead of a bush hiding them. I may eventualy put that version up. ~.^

12 Muses

A look into my 12 muses; to introduce to you who I am. I believe that everyone has a muse that inspires them. A guiding light in your life. Just have to listen.
Aland Starkeeper is the name I've taken upon myself, coming from my main Muse.
Originaly written in my personal journal 10/26/2005; a little over a year in college.

My name is Aland. I am a personal muse and friend of this one. I am his muse of personality and imagination. He and I are connected. Our minds are of one. I was created of his mind, to protect him. I was there in his childhood, and I am here now. I can not take claim for his personality, nor imagination. I can only inspire him, and he in turn... inspires me. I am his muse and guardian to his mind. I am sworn to protect him. May I become one with him, that is my ultimate fate. May my inspiration shed light upon his mind and creativity.

Luna is the name given to me by him. I am a muse and personal friend to him. I am his muse of song and love. We are connected, for eternity. I am his friend, and I whisper in his ear. I inspire him to speak and sing. Luna means moon, and so too, I am a gravity on him. I represent what he looks for in love. Love of song, love of life, love of family, love of friends. Aphrodite has nothing on me. May he listen to my song and pour fourth his heart’s desires.

Ax is my name. I have been with my boy since he was little. I am his guardian for life, and also his muse and friend. I am his muse of unity and literature. Though and unlikely pair, this is what I am. Unity is... hard. Friendship is unity. Love is unity. Family is unity. This one does not make it as easy as it should be. Though, through his writing, he finds ways to connect. I’m afraid we must leave it at that for a while. Unity will come in time.

Aidyn is my name. I am the inner ferocity of this small one. I myself am small, yet slowly growing. I am a muse and guardian, friend and enemy to this one. This little one kept me in my egg for a long time. This little one was never outgoing, but that is slowly changing. I pray that this little one will become as strong as the dragons.

Nick. I am the forgotten muse. I am the muse of life for this one. I inspire his will to live and to continue. This one almost completely forgot me; but now I am newly revived, as a phoenix from the burning nest. My wish is that this one live out a full and happy life.

Drage of the Heart. My purpose is to guard and inspire, as his muse of the heart. This one has been hurting a lot. His heart hurts and aches. I took on the role of muse of life to try to save this one. He has survived, but only together will we all survive.

Arts. I have been long with him. His passion for the arts was always in him, but inspiration for art has been amplified in my presence. I have grown through the years, learning from everything around him. My wish is that he shall always seek to surround himself with beauty, especially that he would seek to create beauty.

My name, given by him, is Blade. I am his muse of kindness. Kindness is a strange thing. It can cut through the soul as swift as a sword, but also is able to heal the deepest of wounds. Kindness is what I wish for him. That he always show kindness in the toughest situation, and that in return, he experience true kindness.

My life energy is new to this one. He has given me the name of David. I am his muse of dedication and duty. I inspire him to stick to his loves, passions, desires, and vigor. Also, I inspire him to serve others and to be dutiful. Although he may serve, he is not a servant.

I have no name, but he calls me Angel. I am his guardian and muse. I represent a higher power. I represent truth. That is what I am. I am his muse of light, truth and faith. My wish is that he would stay on the straight and narrow path.

Brandon. My name was given to me by him. I am his muse and guardian. I am his muse of justice and courage. A moral compass to set the path. It is my wish that he will always have a sense of justice and courage.

Soul. It is my name, and what I am. I am his muse of soul and balance. I represent the good and evil in his soul. He must be balanced, and that is what I seek for him. Moderation in all things, including moderation.

It is me. I am him. They are me, and I am them. I must forge my own destiny. Fate is under my control. Aland’s personality and imagination. Luna’s song and love. Ax’s unity. Aidyn’s ferocity. Nick’s life energy. Drage’s heart. Arts’s passion. Blade’s kindness. David’s sense of duty. Angel’s light. Brandon’s guideance. Soul’s balance. Twelve muses. Fourteen traits. Hope, Courage, Love, Light, Loyalty, Humor, Patience, Wisdom, Truth, Faith, Kindness, Justice, Humbleness. This is what I strive for.
